To celebrate Giving Tuesday, we are happy to announce that applications are now open for the 2023 Purpose PRogram! For the fourth year in a row, Scott Circle Communications is offering our no-cost public relations training to D.C. area nonprofits.

Not only has Influencer Marketing Hub named us one of the top 15 woman-owned and woman-led public relations firms, but we are thrilled to announce that we are now one of PR News’ 2023 Agency Elite Top 100 agencies in the country.

As many of you know, our agency solely focuses on mission-driven work. So, on this Giving Tuesday, I am happy to announce that applications are now open for Scott Circle Communications' (SCC) annual Purpose PRogram! For the third year in a row, SCC will offer our no-cost training communications and public relations training to D.C. area nonprofits.
In 2022, our virtual curriculum and coaching will include monthly presentations and hands-on mentorship from SCC team members on the most important aspects of a strategic communications plan. Every selected nonprofit will leave this program with a communications plan and the tools to implement it.

Mission-Driven Philanthropy

At Scott Circle Communications our mantra is, how can we be helpful? The Purpose PRogram is one way we put our commitment to others in action – starting right here at home.
The Purpose PRogram is a professional development course that trains local DC/MD/VA-area nonprofits on how to grow their in-house communications skills and reach their own goals for making our community a better place. Find out more about how this free, customized program and one-on-one mentorship could help your organization fulfill its purpose.
We kicked off our fourth annual session of The Purpose PRogram on May 18. This is SCC’s signature pro bono service designed to help mission-driven organizations in Washington, D.C. metropolitan area tell their stories. Over the next six months, SCC staff will mentor representatives from three organizations on how to build a communication strategy and implement best practices to spread the word about the important work they do for our local community.
