Scott Circle Communications, recently listed in The Agency Elite Top 100 by PR News, made three new hires, added a new intern and promoted a team member in May. With this expanded capacity and expertise, SCC will offer more full-service communications services to its growing portfolio of mission-driven clients.
Sharon Singh joins as a vice president. She will lead SCC’s long-standing work with the National Organization for Women (NOW) and other organizations. Sharon is a global communications and public relations executive strategist who has worked with several international organizations, including Amnesty International and the International Fertilizer Development Corporation. Her political and governmental experience includes time at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, congressional and presidential campaigns and in the offices of U.S. Reps. Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif., Brad Sherman, D-Calif, and the late Vic Fazio, D- Calif.
Suzanne Struglinski started May 1 as a director. Suzanne also will work with NOW and lead SCC’s Purpose PRogram. Now in its fourth year, the Purpose PRogram provides free communications and training for DC-area nonprofits. Suzanne previously worked in public relations at Industry Dive, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Natural Resources Defense Council. She is a former political and congressional reporter for the Deseret News and the Las Vegas Sun. She is currently a Washington Women in Public Relations board member and a two-term past president of the Regional Reporters Association. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism.
Madeline Kapushy has been promoted to manager. Madeleine joined SCC as a coordinator two years ago and immediately put her public health expertise and campaign advance experience to work for SCC’s clients. Within the firm, Madeleine has led efforts on inclusivity - one of our core values - and established new processes to help better serve clients.
Recent Howard University graduate Hannah E. Brown will start as a coordinator on June 5. Brown brings communications internship experience from Bully Pulpit Interactive and the Office of Barack and Michelle Obama.
